CSCS is an institution blessed by God. We have wonderful teachers, staff, and administrators who care deeply for the students who attend here. Maxine Perrin demonstrated a lifetime of selfless service and commitment toward education. Upon graduation from high school in a small Iowa town in 1945, she taught country school for 4 years. She then married and raised 3 kids on a farm. At the age of 36 she became widowed. Single-handedly she raised her 3 elementary-age children while at the same time she waited tables at a local café during the day, then went to college at night to earn her teaching degree. Upon earning her teaching certificate she then began teaching school in the local public school district.
